Help with "first" kit/ globe build

A friend of mine had one of them 80T RC4WD motors in his truck. He had issues with it..........a LOT of issues. Truck wouldn't pull at all. He left his other electronics alone, & replaced that motor with a cheaper Chinese 80T motor. After that the truck performed much gooder. I JUST got a chance to catch up on this forum.
