How did you bond the arm for the bucket dump, it looks like the inside is alunimum amd the outsides are brass ?

@Elliot: I´ll try to make some pics if I find the time to go to the workshop this weekend.

@SonoranWraith: Thanx. It´s gonna be a mix of materials. The frame and most stressed parts from brass for weight and durability. The swing from alloy due to the weight. The body will be mostly PS.

@Greg: There are four 2mm bolts around the bearing of the swing. They´re not visible. Hard to explain, I´ll make a pic.
Those four iron bolts will take most of the shearing between the outer sheets of brass and the massive alloy core.
Furthermore the sheets and the core are glued together with uhu endfest 300. It´s a special glue that you have to bake in the oven. The heat improves the strenght of the connection by 300% (I think...maybe even more...).
