Um…does the voltage of the battery=the voltage of the motor ideally? Like if I have a 12v motor I need a 12v battery? And if I have more than one 12v motor, do I have to get a bigger battery? And how do 4 motors connect to one esc?
Sorry for all the annoying questions, I've watched many tutorials on the basics of motors and rc and stuff, but I didn't understand them.
Thanks guys (:
If you have a 12volt motor and put a 7.22v battery on it for example it will just run slower with less torque. Gearheads are efficient with battery power you'll be surprised how long a battery will last, try with a 2200mah battery first and see how it goes. As for wiring to esc just get all the red wires from the motors and join them to the red wire on the esc then do the same with the black ones.

Cool, thanks. I got the wiring to the esc part, but as far as the battery things: so i could run two of those 6v gear motors that rcp said off of a 11.1 volt battery?
And the wire for wiring the motor to the esc is just regular copper wire (maybe stereo wire) from the hardware store? Does it have to be a specific gauge?
Thanks guys.
