Re: Chroming parts?
Hi,
There is a chrome spray paint which you could use to coat plastic, but I've never used it myself and I think the paint is quite pricey! But it maybe an option if you need plastic parts chromed Good luck

Re: Chroming parts?
Here is a company that does plastic chroming for models and automotive. I have not used them but have a friend that has. Was very happy with the results. You'll have to check on current pricing and the requirements for prep work.

Re: Chroming parts?
Chrometech is probably your best bet, you can also get copper electrically conductive spray paint which will enable you to plate plastic parts with the brush plating kit (which works surprisingly good) either option is costly though.

It doesn't do a good finish for me. It remains soft for quite some time. My fingerprints are on the bumper from me touching 24 hrs after. It also rubs off. I'll keep using it to touch up scratches and stuff, but if I were to do again, I'd paint the bumper black. With that being said, one person posted and it seem to work OK for them. I may have put on to thick a coat. This is what I used: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en |
