They are cast, but the company makes some cool stuff.
http://www.rccarparts.biz/index.php I especially dig these with the fakie disc brakes and rotors and actual "lug" mounting, only in 5 lug though. http://www.rccarparts.biz/product_in...roducts_id=479 Doh! Sorry, to throw my $.02 in, they have been around a couple years or more now and I haven't seen any complaints that I can think of so they must not be too bad.

I never found the links you provided,thanks. I want to narrow a set about 2'' because they're too wide for my planned application.

I have a set- haven't put them to use yet
One axel seems to have a rough spot on the ring gear Took it apart to see if anything wrong Looked ok Nice casting work and internals are top notch Only thing I didn't care for was the single cross publishing the 'hub' to the axel. Seemed to allow the hub to wobble -but I haven't mounted wheels to see if it tightens up Good price too - Chris
