Hello everyone! I'm in the process of building my first King Hauler. I've been looking around trying to see what motor upgrades are out there. Is there one motor that is the best out of the rest?

i use intergy lath motors from tower hobbies in 90% of my r/c trucks. im running a 65T with 6 tooth pinion from RC4WD in my King Hauler. first is extremely powerful not too fast, second pulls great and is a little faster but my third is still too fast i think and i rarely ever use third towing my trailer. This seteup seems to be the normwith allot of guys also running a 4:1 reduction behind the tranny to further slow down the big rig

It really doesn't take anything special to move these trucks, other then a higher turn motor. Especially if you have a gear reducer. Traction becomes the limiting factor, I'd say.

My King had a Tekin FXR 45T and a PMD 4:1 reduction, I loved that setup for running in the house, plenty fast and lots of control.

why the **** would you run a 3s goat in a tractor truck for? I could only see this being done if your sled pulling with it.
