radio question

I'm about to start building an amphibious vehicle which is likely to be built out of aluminium .

Just wondered if any one has tried this before and were there any problems with radio reception.

That bottom pic is pretty cool!!! I remember when going to a dive park they put in a few ships and planes and stuff for us to dive in and through for training (rescue diver for FD) and it was cool seeing all the stuff growing on them. where was that pic taken? looks like a great exploration site for diving!!
