Nice to see more axel options for us... Personaly i see this for dump trucks and guys like me that try to get their trucks thru the off road and uneven ground....I prefer to just run a locked rear axel and open front tandem. I can just about make it thru most off road yet still get a great turning radius. If I would use one of these it would be a forward axel and have the option to lock it in when needed, keeping my rear rear always Locked in. Once you lock both axels you pretty much are going straight.

They look great, for being plastic! It's really nice to see more options available today. There is also an 8x8 Armageddon dump truck listed too.

Now if they'd only make these two with steerable options, for a full 8x8 option.

Nobody use these yet? Morockin you got these in your Armageddon rig yeah? Wondering how smooth/strong they are inside. Need a better option for my heavy haul.

Nate, check out Rigid RC's metal axles, for the Tamiya trucks. They have lockers, and both driven steer and rear axles are available. They are very nice. I bought a set and the axles spin smooth and quiet. The locker actuates very smoothly too.

I do not think the Armageddon 8x4 that RC4WD sells comes with the lockers. The 8x8, however, does, but only in the rear axles.

Two questions:
#1 Does the RC4WD axles come with a complete set of gears or do they expect you to use the ones that come with the truck kit?

#2 I'm not familiar with Rcbrmin. Anyone got a link? my searching failed
