Hey Rob you rdoing an excellent job on this, im interested to know how strong that new slew bearing from china is? would it be suitable for a bigger machine? are the gear teeth metal or plastic?

Well, I think i have figured out the slip/slew ring problem that has been plaguing the KAT. The pics will explain.
I cut and shortened the rc4wd slip ring down to a workable height ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I bored out the diameter of the slew ring to fit the diameter of the slip ring. This not fits atop the slip ring. ![]() ![]()
