Check out this thread for an inexpensive way of making your own shafts.
http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...read.php?t=708 You can also adjust the drive cups on the axle and transmission so there is very little fore/aft play in the shaft when all tires are flat on the bench, then see what you get when you flex the suspension and readjust accordingly.

yeah i've already read that thread a couple days ago. Pretty cool.
Also good idea with adjusting the cups, I hadn't thought of that. I mainly want to buy something so when I get hometime I can pop it in, and go play
