Reg, you need a diode in the lead of the beeper. To make it quieter, put a band aid over it!

I tried a diode on either end facing either way and it would either make it not work at all or do the same as in the video. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong? Maybe a different diode? It's gotta work somehow Neil!
