Just got some good news Airtronics just called and said they fixed my radio and are shipping it today maybe by monday I'll be able to run the excavator. I also got 2 5000 mAh 40 c 11.1 batteries and 2 5000 mAh 40 c 14.8 batteries. I ordered A voltage drop from Digi Key and board also a voltage and amp meter so I can check the draw. Ed

I had planned on running the 14.8 in the tractor and dump trailer with the voltage drop it takes it from 14.8 to 12 volts if I ever got it build and the 11.1 in the excavator but we shell see that why I got the voltage and amp meter so I can check the voltage and amp draw and drop. Ed

You must be incredibly anxious to get that transmitter back huh Ed? If I had a piece of equipment like that sitting in my garage... man oh man... I would be chompin at the bit to get her up and running. I suppose you will soon enough and when that day comes, we all expect lots of videos!!! Can't wait. Have you started building the other two pieces of equipment you bought?

Dan

Well I finally got my radio back and I also found out that if I put a .42 resister in line it will drop the 14.8 volts to 12 volts. Things are coming together now if my back and shoulder will co operate I may get something done. Ed
