Nice explanation. Stone wheels aren't so bad as long as the suspension is up to the task.I prefer to make it myself, but to each his or her own.

I just have to reply
Would any of you guys that are building a vehicle that will probably cost over $3000 when done settle for a part that was filed or sanded down to fit when you can get the part machined to an exact dimension? I THINK NOT!!! I have no problem helping a guy out that does not have access to a lathe or mill to do even what you guys think is an unnecessary operation. Quality parts make for a quality build.Claus did not deserve this kind of treatment on this forum for wanting a part that meets his desire for precision. Even if it was in a joking tone.
