just a small up date , got all motors mounted and tested.
track drives all good .
a few hand rails to go and a total repaint, also still having trouble finding drive belts that im happy with.

Ive seen a few $10 bathroom scales that are begging to have the digital display ripped out, wires...

that is a sweet set up you have there, maybe a bit of street lighting for some after hours driving?
Im also thinking CAT fuel is of a better quality than the others can provide LOL

Never realy measured it , but im guessing around 6mm.
the top moves more than the bottom of the crusher plate..

I have been told the same about the fines shute.
we have a guy at work who used to repair them in South Africa and he suggested a sliding mech under the hopper slots that I can adjust to suit the...

just a small update.
got tracks and sprocket fitted up. now I have to make some track pads.
also found some large orings that might do the job of drive belts, time will tell.
also had the printer...

hey Justin heres a real quick video of the crusher crushing dirt lumps.
just fitted battery drill to shaft and had it set on low 0- 400 rpm, it appears to work better at the higher speed but needs...

the hopper at its highest would be 250-300mm high and the crusher box
is around 80mm x 50mm and full length of machine conveyor included would be around 1.2 meters

if learnt something today, if you use a mig welder to weld galvanised fence wire you are lighting a fuse.

Ive welded galv steel before and its not that great, clean the galv off and its not too...

today was a funny day, spent a good half hour looking at the crusher trying to figure out how and where to mount the motors for the conveyors and crusher drive.

but since I didn't have any motors...

I agree with the cleaning brush .
I will make a shute under the hopper to take the small fines down through slits in the hopper and somehow fit a bottel brush ( which ive found in the wifes cleaning...

had a good night and have completed all major steel work, vibrator fitted , tested and all good.
need to make a couple of screen guards to cover weight on vibrator.
will pick up some paint on days...
