The axle are all modified with rubber washers in place of the metal shims in the diffs. The rubber washers force the spider gears together so hard that it acts like a posi rear end but, if you are carrying 15 pounds of dirt and turn sharp the spider gears will turn. You can really see them all turn in this vid @ 3:50 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_H-dIBU6laM Last year i had to open one axle up because the posi action was gone and i found the rubber washers were ground to shreds. So, i cleaned it out and made new washers for it. I just took both of the axles out of the king hauler after the Cabin Fever show and did the rubber washer mod to them as well. Thanks Bo. :-)

Thank You very much Supermario!
![]() To make the rubber washers i use regular thickness bicycle inner tube rubber and just cut them to shape and add some fresh grease to the spider gears just before you final assemble.

I should also add that the tight fit of the rubber washer against the backside of the bevel gear and diff housing also contributes greatly to preventing the spider gears from rotating..it is not just the pressure on the spider gears that makes the mod work. Which is probably why the gears seem to be holding up fine.
